What is the aid and attendance benefit program?

The aid in attendance benefit program is a benefit that is available to veterans and their spouses and even the surviving spouses of veterans. This is not a benefit that is a result of the veteran being injured while they were on active duty but rather this is a benefit that's available because the veterans served during a period of war. It's a benefit that's paid directly to the veteran or the veterans spouse rather than to the facility. Accordingly, it's very, very helpful also the benefit can be paid to a veteran of their spouse while they're still living at home if the otherwise qualify. It's important to see a VA accredited attorney to determine if you qualify for aid in attendance.
