How much money should I leave to my pets?

One advantage of a pet trust is it makes it much easier to determine how much money to leave for your care of your pet, without a pair trust you might leave the pet caregiver too little money. In which case, you're dependent on the caregiver’s goodwill to take care of your pet or you may leave the caregiver too much money. In which case, it's a windfall to the caregiver by creating a pet trust the money is handled by the trustee who's not the caregiver. So, that way you can put in extra money and when the pet dies what's left over in the trust will be returned to your estate. So, it makes it much easier to plan financially if one creates a pet trust.
